SR Spotlight on: Monica Silwanowicz, CPA
On October 16, amidst 20,000 runners cruising through downtown Detroit, ShindelRock’s own Monica Silwanowicz completed the entire 26.2 miles of the 34th Detroit Free Press Marathon.
The course crossed the U.S./Canadian border twice and offered runners musical entertainment along the way. Monica ran through historic neighborhoods, around beautiful Belle Isle, and along the spectacular RiverWalk. Completing the marathon, for which she trained very hard for several months, proves that Monica has the drive and determination to achieve her goals.
Monica Silwanowicz has been with ShindelRock since 2007, is a Certified Public Accountant, and we have learned that she definitely goes the extra mile! Everyone at ShindelRock is proud of her accomplishment, and we are looking forward to October 21, 2012, when we can watch Monica complete her next Detroit Free Press marathon!

She's a CPA and yet she still has the time to be a runner. ShindelRock must've been so happy to get her to run at the 34th Detroit Free Press Marathon.
