Economic Impact Payments [1], also called COVID-19 stimulus checks, will soon be distributed by the federal

government to all Americans according to tiered income bracket qualifications.  The stimulus payments are automatic for most taxpayers; no further action is needed by taxpayers who filed tax returns in 2018 and 2019 and most seniors and retirees.  However, non-tax filers in 2018 or 2019 who do not already receive Social Security benefits must register here [2] in order to receive their Economic Impact Payment.
