- Dead-theft scams
- The “your mortgage has been sold” scam
- Home-repair scams
- “Certified-deed” solicitations
Everybody goes through difficult times now and then, but you always have to be aware of people that are out to scam you. Remember, if something seems to be too good to be true, it probably is.
