Congratulations to ShindelRock’s newest Senior Accountants!
ShindelRock, a mid-size accounting and business consulting firm in Novi, Mich., has promoted four staff accountants to senior accountants: Dana Cinquepalmi, Monica Silwanowicz, Rhonda Seeley and Karla Harrington. Congratulations ladies!
Karla Harrington, CPA is a senior accountant who joined ShindelRock in 2009. She handles all types of clients with a concentration on the medical profession and high net worth individuals. Her responsibilities include tax planning and preparation, accounting, financial statement preparation and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Karla graduated from Oakland University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. She is a Certified Public Accountant and member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountant. She is a member of the Detroit Young Professionals organization and volunteers with the Accounting Aid Society, an IRS-sponsored program that provides free income tax return preparation to low income families. In addition, she has volunteered for the “JA in a Day” program in which the MACPA partners with Junior Achievement USA to teach financial literacy skills to Kindergarten through 12th grade students.
Monica Silwanowicz, CPA, is a staff accountant specializing in tax planning, preparation, and research for individuals and small to mid-size businesses, including completing tax projections, returns and financial statement compilations for clients. With a warm, confident personality and a gift for expressing complex tax and financial information in layman’s terms, Monica earns the trust and favor of her clients as a natural first point of contact within the firm. Her teammates at ShindelRock value her as a consummate team player who is willing to take leadership positions within the framework of client engagements.
Monica is a Certified Public Accountant and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants as well as the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants. She graduated from Wayne State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in accounting and has been with ShindelRock since 2007.
Rhonda Seeley, CPA, is a senior accountant at ShindelRock, where she has been since 2003. Rhonda provides individuals and business clients in various sectors with tax planning and preparation, accounting, financial statement preparation and preparation of budgets and forecasts.
Rhonda is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants and a graduate of Walsh College.
Dana Cinquepalmi, CPA, is a Senior Accountant at ShindelRock, responsible for helping clients with various accounting and tax needs, including QuickBooks orientation, completing bank reconciliations, expense classifications, responding to tax notices, preparing year-end tax projections and completing tax returns. Dana works closely with clients to simplify the accounting and tax process throughout the year.
She is a Certified Public Accountant in the State of Michigan and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants (MACPA). Dana is a Walsh College graduate and holds a bachelor’s degree in accountancy and she is also a certified QuickBooks ProAdvisor. Dana enjoys volunteering with the Accounting Aide Society, preparing tax returns for low to middle income individuals in the Metro Detroit area.
